ONE DIRECTION FANDOM IS GOALS....

Everyone knows when it comes to fandom, directioners are the strongest of all. These people are crazy when it comes to supporting their boys in any and every way possible. This fan base is the most creative, artistic and generous, and they have proved it many times. They run many fan projects and also charity drives in honour of the boys.

This year for Harry Styles' 23rd b'day, the fans took to the online donation page to run three amazing donation drives in support of: 

SWITCHBOARD

LITTLE PRiNCESS TRUST

ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTION

The SWITCHBOARD donation drive which was to support the LGBT+ community by providing helpline and IM services collected a total of $10,475. This donation drive was carried by the 1D fans give.

The next donation drive was for the little princess trust, which provides real hair wigs, free of charge , to the boys and girls who lost their hair through cancer treatment

As we all know, in May 2016 Harry donated his hair to the trust and showed his support to the great work they do.

Seems like fans made it their mission to further the cause. They collected a total of £1,141.79

The next and the most talked about donation drive was the #LifeboatsForHarry , which was for RNLI. RNLI is a charity that saves lives at the sea.

The drive came into action on the 1st of November. This drive was inspired by Harry's upcoming movie Dunkirk. 19 of the boats involved in the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940 was of RNLI, they saved thousands of men just like Harry's character, and they continue to do the same.

The drive which was lead by Sasha, collected a total of $10,259.

In a small chat that we had with Sasha, she wished Harry and said "I WISH HIM THE HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAY AND I HOPE IT MAKES HIM FEEL GREAT THAT WE RAISED MONEY TO SAVE LIVES IN HIS HONOUR" she also made a special shout out to Julie who helped raise a load.

After seeing all this I could say that One Direction fandom is just incredible in its own way. After seeing their efforts I am truly starstruck.

We here at Starstruck would like to congratulate them all in their efforts. I know for sure Harry Styles will be really proud and is really lucky to have fans like them.

After giving us the perfect reason to smile by dropping the news of tour this March, Seems like ed will stop at nothing. Ed has been dominating the charts with his singles 'Castle on the Hill' and 'Shape of You'. 

We recently got the official video of CASTLE ON THE HILL which was really an overwhelming and emotional one, and on 30th of Jan he gifted us with the new video for SHAPE OF YOU.

The video which is directed by JASON KOENIG, is a true piece of art. The video starts with Ed learning boxing in a gym. And slowly moves along with the lyrics.... that is a developed relation with a gym and gym member. But then Ed is left heartbroken, as the women decides to leave him and start all over again.

And in the end...... well let's just say it's a surprise.... I will not spoil it....

Castle on the Hill

FANGIRLS ON ALERT.... ED ANNOUNCES HIS GLOBAL TOUR.....

After a long one year hiatus from music and social media. The 25 year old lad decided to drop two chart topping singles, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" on 6th Jan. The response to the songs was wild!

Seeing such a positive response from the fans, Ed was truly overwhelmed and took to Twitter to thank the fans.

We also got the name of the songs supposed to be in the album namely Divide ➗.

The album will be out 3rd of March. Soon after the offical release of the album, Ed will be all set for a global tour. The tour consists of UK, Europe, Mexico and Central and South America.

So people stop fangirling and go get your ticket! The tickets will be out on sale from Jan 31st.

FROM HARRY STYLES TO DUA LIPA…. THEIR WORK IS WHAT MATTERS

As we all know celebrities are always being followed by paparazzi, getting asked personal questions and having little things blown out of proportion. Now, any celebrity's love life is a personal and private thing yet the media can’t help but ask questions about it, some of which are downright annoying. We believe that when any celebrity is being interviewed, especially if they are there to promote their work, they should be asked about their work. Simple. But obviously that doesn’t happen.

An example of this is when Dua Lipa, model and singer/songwriter, was being interviewed by Dan Wootton a reporter that works for the celeb gossip part of The Sun.

She had been there promoting her newest song Scared to be Lonely but in between was asked about her and Harry Styles' relationship. The interviewer showed Dua a picture of her and Harry just hanging out in London and asked “is anything going on?” she responded by saying “He’s a friend of mine. We’ve been friends for a while and we were just catching up” Then the interviewer went on to ask “Now are you sure that this is just a friendship?” She then explained that she is already dating someone.

The interviewer obviously wanted gossip but it wasn’t fair on Dua to be asked that because she was there to promote her song.

It isn’t fair for celebrities to be known more by what is happening in their life rather than their work. Obviously if the celebrity is well known, fans want to know stuff about them, but interviewers shouldn’t focus more on personal thing in an interview. It should be 90% of the interview focused on the work of the celebrity and maybe 10% on what is going on in their non-work life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALUM

Calum Hood is officially 21, can you believe our little smol bean is growing up?! All of us here at Starstruck are wishing him a very Happy Birthday. So, in honor of his birthday we have decided on putting together this Article! 

Just a few days ago a large 5sos Fan account managed to Trend #CongratsCalum, just for Calum appreciation Tweets on Twitter. Of course, today on Calum's birthday, 5sos Fam members from across the world came together on Twitter, and other social medias to share their favorite pictures of Cal, edits, videos, and Happy Birthday Wishes in honor of his birthday.

so far, based on Calum's recent Instagram story, he seemed to be partying with what looked like the rest of the boys and maybe even some family? Earlier today in America both Luke and Ashton posted on Instagram joking about Calum's birthday, and tweeted the pictures with the caption as well. Sadly, we have not heard from Michael yet, so we will hope he wished him a happy birthday in private. 

Who am I kidding, you all already know this, and if you don't, what are you doing with your life?! Haha There is no official updates on where Calum was on his very special day but we hope he had the time of his life. WHEN LOUIS TOMLINSON AND STEVE AOKI DAZZLED THE TONIGHT SHOW......

One Direction member Louis Tomlinson, who recently launched his solo career in December with a chart topping collaboration with DJ Steve Aoki, seems to stop at nothing! Recently, he and Steve have been seen promoting their single in the USA.

Yesterday, that is the 24th of Jan, the duo performed their song on the tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon.

It was a power packed performance, with a lot of energy and passion. It was truly one of the best performances on Jimmy Fallon, as fans would say. After all they both practiced eighty times to make the performance that perfect!

The fans were all overwhelmed by the performance hence #ProudOfLouisAndSteve and #ProudOfLouis was trending on Twitter the whole day. According to fans, Louis is a true inspiration. And they are very thankful to Steve for being with Louis and supporting him.

We also got a video in which Louis shared some of his adventures while on the tour with the boys.

Louis has just launched a solo career and blessed our ears. We are still awestruck with his amazing voice and are in love with JUST HOLD ON.
